Jinxed!!

You'll never believe my luck, even if u were there. My luck this week has been, so far, pretty jinxed. I think someone out there may be cursing me...but i haven't offended anyone!!!!! Argh! U see...it was raining that day, so that wasn't a good weather to start off my day, and especially when i had worn a skirt as well! Then i was dripping wet going to uni, and back -_-" Then after that, met up with a bunch of friends to go for lunch + cake...had maccas on Bourke then skiddalded off to Crown cafe for some good tiramisu *yummm* After walking around the city aimlessly, I decided to head off home to do some studying for my Stats test that was to take place the next day early in the morning.

By the time i got home, it was getting dark outside. Went into the lifts, reached to the front of my apartment, felt into my bag, and realised....i'd lost/dropped my keys. OMFG! This was like my worst ever nightmare, tho i've never realli had this happened to me before, so was kinda freaking out [a lot!!]. So umm....didn't know wat to do...called up resident manager and apparently, he doesn't work there anymore O_o Asked around for new resident manager's number; there hasn't been a new one. Then waited for people who came in to ask them if they knew any other numbers that could help me. Met this realli nice lady who tried helping me, asking other people questions for me...tho that didn't help much. I had to go to my last resort, which was to call up Nads and asked her if she could put me up for the nite....and for my test, well, i think i would just have to stuff it all up for myself [coz i would have gone unprepared for it]. Was feeling the urge to cry there & then and make a scene of it all, tho noone will still be able to help me. And someone suggested to call a locksmith, but as u know, locksmiths are expensive!! Like heck, $100+ to open one tiny lock...imagine! I mean, they should be paying ME to open my lock...gawd knows how safe these people can be, true? So urm....i went back to the city, and walked around, hoping i'd find any trace of my keys. i also went back to all the stops i made while i was in the city, all except one which had alreadi closed. Disappointed, i walked to the police station, hoping they'd find some key...or if possible, they'd trace it for me. But instead of having high hopes, i was crushed even more to find out that they dunt take reports!! Arggh! So catching the tram home with my hopes lower than jay leno's jaw. But anywayz, i waited for nad's call [as she was studying at the library] so that i'd know when to bunk at her joint. Then fortunately for me, this couple [the lady from before] came down and sat next to me, talked to me, helped me call up numbers. No luck tho. But in the end they decided to call up a locksmith [as a last resort] and told me they'd pay for it all first. I was feeling rather scared, yet relieved that I may be able to get into my apartment, have a good nite's rest tonite + study for my test. Waited for about 20 minutes til the locksmith arrived, having little mindless chats about my family + school with the couple. It was all good, i guess. But just can't believe my luck, that's all. Otherwise it could've been one of the worst days of my life...EVER! Well, now I still owe that couple their money...and my parents had told me to get them a giftbasket, which i should do soon....so......*ack*
