Time to update my blog!! Yeay!
My blogskins tells a lot about me...labout how I'm feeling, what I'm discovering, what I love...basically stuff that I'm trying to unravel but at the same time project my identity as an individual. So for now, I've picked out this cute layout, which TOTALLY reminds me of Harajuku (!) and the great kooky wacky dressed girls & boys there. Harajuku was one of the best Tokyo experience for me (I went there 4 times during my stay there! Had to take the subway from Akasaka-Mitsuke and change lines~) And I simly love the pretty EGLs who were parading down Harajuku Street without a care in the world. It was so awesome!!! >_< Most of u should alrealise that coming back from the holidays, I've changed a lot, hair-wise, clothes-wise...trying to find my own style and getting inspirations from everywhere~ As Gwen Stefani would say "Style is Style, Fashion is Fashion..Girl, You've got style! ;)"
So as I was saying...something totally uncalled for happened to me at a lecture today. Thought I was gonna be late, but luckily had made it in the theatre room just in time, and like I was sitting somewhere close to the front but one line after the first row of people. So I was sitting there, and then the lecturer plops a stack of paper up the front overrrr to the left side (i was sitting at the far right), then everyone gets up and scrambles over to the pile of lecture notes and starts to snatch a couple copies for themselevs and their friends. And there I was still sitting, could be stuffed getting up and walking all the way round, and I also knew that the lecture notes were the exact same thing to the lecture slides, so it was all good. Then comes up the guy sitting in front of me and hands me a copy of the lecture notes (note: there wasn't any left when everyone had returned to their seats) And this guy (some random) offers me the sheets and I was all like "Oh, thanks" and then feeling a slight awkwardness in all the kindness the guy was trying to offer. So that's one section of a typically normal boring Wednesday.
Moving along...it was around 5:30 when the rain startedpissing down. Had an appointment to meet Trish and others (Johnny, Tark, Jerwin, Fred, Allen & Helen) at Max Brenners. Luckily I took the express to Flinders then hopped on (unknowingly, trying my luck) onto a train heading for Belgrave (which means it was going back to where I came from). Fortunate enough for me, it stopped at Melbourne Central, and so, I reached my destination without a drop of rain on me. So I met the people, got introduced to Fred (again) and Helen's boyfriend. SSat down, and chatted a bit. Johnny was checking out some chicks on the other tables and I looked back, and that chick saw me starring and looked back straight at me. I looked at her a couple of times, and with everytime she stared back at me (even when she was talking to her friend). I didn't know who felt more intimidated by the other. But I didn't care, I was only trying to check out if she was drool-worthy. Apparently not. Her teeth was everywhere around her mouth...that's all I can say. So yea, we booted off to Melbourne Central food court (Helen & bf booted off home) and had difficulty deciding on what to eat. All of us went to Maccas as someone had suggested it, only to find the person who DIDN'T wanna eat was the one who did -_-; So we stood around, thinking, chatting, and then Tark and Trish had to go home. So we bade goodbyes and then left Melbourne Central and went to try out Don-Don Takeaway on Swanston. It was cramped inside as there were heaps of people eating AT the restaurant, so we finally opted for Nando's instead (coz I've never realli tried that place before). It had stopped raining so we walked from Don-Don to Nando's, walked in and ordered our food. The chick behind the counter gave me this scratch-and-win card, while the oher guys didn't get anything (HAHA!!!!!) Jerwin says it was sorta beginner's luck (since this was my first time EVER eatiing at Nando's and I'd alreadi kinda won something). The food was pretty good, but the portion's a bit too small...but nonetheless, it wasn't a bad tasting experience for me, so I'll definitely try it out again some other day. Johnny was scuoting chicks at the restaurant, as per usual...lol...and spotted two chicks ordering a whole chicken. But it looked small anyways, so I thought it was no biggie. Then we walked over to QV, the guys waited with me for a tram, and then we all went our own ways.
And now, it's pissing hard outside, right in the middle of the city...what a nice cold night eh? =\
